Sit on our front porch (seasonal) and enjoy your food overlooking Monument Square or head inside to eat while surrounded by 300 years of history. No matter where you decide to sit, you will enjoy hand crafted cocktails and food you thought you could only find in the city!
Our pubs are intimate spaces that are steeped in history. The Tap Room was originally the "mens only" bar and still holds its original charm and detail. The Village Forge Tavern was a storeroom for supplies during the Revolutionary War and the old wood floors and beams could tell stories. It’s also the place to catch the best live music outside of Boston. Regulars include Jimmy Mazzy & the Last Minute Men, Lisa Marie & the Workingman's Band and Sweet Willie D "The Deacon of the Blues". Open mic nights round out the fun.
The Village Forge Tavern was voted one of the "1,000 Great Places in Massachusetts" by the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism. We couldn't agree more. Stop by and see why the Village Forge Tavern is so unique. Read the press release.
