The Liberty Restaurant and Village Forge Tavern
The Liberty Restaurant and Village Forge Tavern is a place for you to unwind with friends, come as you are, and enjoy a great meal. No stuffiness, no pretense, just great food and drinks in a totally unique atmosphere. Our menu offers local favorites and creative pub fare making it the perfect spot to come for lunch with colleagues, decompress with friends after work or bring the family for a casual meal. Sit on our front porch and enjoy your food overlooking Monument Square or head inside for authentic Clam Chowder, Pork Milanese and seasonal beverage specials surrounded by 300 years of history.
Our pubs are intimate spaces that are steeped in history. The Village Forge Tavern was a storeroom for supplies during the Revolutionary War and the old wood floors and beams could tell stories. It’s also the place to catch the best live music and trivia outside of Boston. Regulars include Jimmy Mazzy & the Last Minute Men, Lisa Marie & the Workingman's Band and Sweet Willie D "The Deacon of the Blues". Open mic and trivia nights round out the fun.
